Marco Barrantes and Michelle Ann Matthews (with their baby in attendance) of La Loma Development were honored to receive a City of Los Angeles Resolution, presented by Councilmember Jan Perry for our work in "creating sustainable eco-friendly living spaces within our communities and our schools, improving the quality of life for all." In particular was recognition for our work at Main St. Elementary. "La Loma has been an integral part of reshaping and re-envisioning the connections between urban spaces and nature, especially when it comes to creating special wild, beautiful, green spaces for our children and students, one of the projects with well-deserving of recognition is the culmination of a year long community collaboration that transformed 4,000 square feet of asphalt paving into a sustainable urban forest at Main St. Elementary." Thank you councilmember Jan Perry and the City of Los Angeles!
